Darkroom Club membership begins with an instructor-led refresher. Lab time is booked separately after that session.

What membership includes

A one-hour instructor-led refresher session
Access to the black-and-white film and print lab
Use of enlargers, development stations, and shared lab tools
Core chemistry and basic shared supplies
Online booking for 2, 3, or 4-hour lab sessions after the refresher

Members bring their own film, negatives, and photographic paper. Photo Student pricing is for current students; staff will check a current student ID when you arrive, with no online verification. If staff cannot verify it, the standard-tier difference is due before darkroom access.

4. Darkroom Safety Acknowledgment and Use Agreement

I understand that darkroom work involves photographic chemicals, reduced lighting, wet or slippery surfaces, electrical equipment near water, sharp tools, and other risks of injury or property damage. I voluntarily choose to use the darkroom and agree to complete required orientation, follow staff instructions and posted rules, use required protective equipment, use only approved materials, and promptly report spills, injuries, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment. I am responsible for my personal belongings. This acknowledgment does not waive rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be waived.

I confirm that I am at least 18 years old, have read this Darkroom Safety Acknowledgment and Use Agreement, and agree to it.

What happens next?

Your selected session is held for 15 minutes while you pay. After your refresher, you can use the member booking system to reserve darkroom time.

Secure payment is completed through Square.
