Photographer's Eye Collective: AUCTION FUNDRAISER 2023

The Photographer's Eye Collective presents a diverse auction fundraiser featuring 28 works by 28 different artists, showcasing an exceptional range of photographic techniques and processes. This compelling exhibition spans from traditional methods including platinum palladium prints, cyanotypes, and salt prints to contemporary archival pigment prints and unique experimental processes like four-layer gum bichromate and photopolymer gravure. The collection demonstrates the breadth and innovation of contemporary photography while supporting the collective's mission through this special fundraising initiative.

About the Curator

Donna Cosentino

In a life dedicated to photography since 1971, Donna Cosentino has been a news photographer, museum docent, curator, educator, and leader in the photographic community. After thirty years of teaching photography, Donna retired and opened The Photographer’s Eye in Escondido, a gallery whose mission is to enlighten and educate the community on the history and art of photography through exhibitions and classes.

We welcome you to our second annual fundraising print auction. We thank the fine photographers who have donated their images and believe in our mission to educate and encourage young photographers through scholarships created by this auction.

The Photographer's Eye is now in our fifth year and we celebrate our stamina through continuing to create high quality exhibitions, through teaching photography at all levels, and though community outreach.
